Has anyone just completed an exit?

My friend and I have recently finalized the sale of our company. Our goal now is to try and meet up with a group of two or three founders, people in a situation similar to ours, who have have worked together and founded a successful startup in the past. It's our hope to work together on a new startup.

The "VC this, $10-million-raised that" type of startup is not the direction we'd like to go. We're excited about working with interesting but laid back people, the kind not overly affected by the latest hype, developers who would rather do the work themselves than manage a group of key employees.

Here is a list of questions which we came up with while talking to local entrepreneurs. Hopefully the answers will illustrate who we are and the type of people we'd like to talk with.
