What is your startup venture about? Our goal is to form a group of co-founders and develop startups together. We will work on one project at a time, build it into an attractive business, exit, and then repeat.

What are you looking for in co-founders?Ideally we'd like to meet up with a group of two or three founders, people in a situation similar to ours, who have have worked together and founded a successful startup in the past. The idea is to merge into a team of four or five co-founders and work on a startup. What projects will the group work on?Our experience is in information technology and web applications. A lot will depend on what others bring to the table. In our opinion, it's too early to get all passionate about specific ideas. Technology changes quickly. Not long ago no one had heard of an iPhone app. Now they're all the rage. Once we have a group of co-founders, we can sit down and go over everyone's skills and interests, and decide from there what we think can be fruitful. For now we are focused on getting the co-founders together. My partners and I have startup experience, how do we know if we want to work with you guys if you don't know what you are working on?We want to solve the "who" of the startup first before worrying about the "what". A killer idea is not much use if we don't have a team of people that can put it together. What do you mean by "solving the who"?The "who" encompasses anything related to the people in the startup. Solving the who involves making decisions about related matters. How many co-founders will there be? Who will the co-founders be? What is the ownership share of each co-founder? What is the management structure? What skills are needed? What skills do people have? Will there be employees? How will decisions be made? Is the group compatible? Can we work together through adversity? Do the co-founders share similar values and philosophies? Is everyone pulling in the same direction? |
